The First Years.

  • Although in principle it had a local rental soon arose new needs. The Union "was developed very precociously with unexpected and overwhelming force" and in the absence of a local rental that contain the SOCIAL WORK. The Father Francisco conceived the idea of building a UNION WINE CELLAR own.
  • The construction of the wine cellar lasted since the first days of October 1924 until mid-August of 1925.
  • “Finished the wine cellar, installed the machines, the presses, the motor and the crushed, that I was acquired long before, as well as fifty barrels and vessels […] And the direction and organization with the accounting of all class…”.
  • Two of the three pillars on which the Union was based had been achieved. It was only find the third pillar: to find a Benefactor to buy the harvest and “was providentially [..]at the home of sir Julio Piosa, God had arranged me to take the honor of meeting the very Christian knight Sir Manuel de Domecq, was generously offered [..] in benefactor of our Social Work …”
  • “That one uninterrupted chain of SACRIFICES of all order, WORKS, BITTERNESS, and WORRIES, with much realised affection, was the end that have all the WORKS of GOD”.
  • The Agricultural Catholic Union of Chipiona was erected in model to follow in Sherry, Sanlúcar, Rota, Seville and all their extensive Diocese (which was recommended by Cardinal Ilundain) being, in addition, disclosed by the Hon. Mr. D. Jose Pemartín and Sanjuán (Head of the Services of Education Average and Superior of the Ministry of National Education) in its work “WHAT IS THE NEW?”.
